Ex-Chief Donaven “Soupy” Wright, a proud and dedicated 38-year member of the Lawrence-Cedarhurst Fire Department and a retired NYPD Detective, was recently diagnosed with throat cancer. At just 57 years old, he and his wife, Arely, are now facing overwhelming medical expenses during this difficult battle.

Throughout his life and career, Ex-Chief Wright has embodied selflessness—devoting decades of service to protecting and helping others in their times of greatest need. Today, it is our turn to stand with him.
